The Castle Inn - Beers, Ciders & Wines
A traditional spit and sawdust boozer, The Castle Inn takes its beer seriously* – which is why we are a firm favourite
among the traditional pubs of St Ives, and have featured more often than any other in the Good Beer Guide.#
For over 150 years we have been refreshing the visitors and artists of St Ives with their favourite tipples, and today the drinks just keep flowing.
CAMRA-accredited, The Castle Inn serves a range of Skinner’s Cornish real ales including Betty Stoggs, Lushingtons and Sennen,
plus guest beers such as Reverend James, all expertly kept in our temperature-monitored cellar.
We also offer a variety of Lagers with Grolsch and Carling on draught and a range of bottled beers.
If Cider is more your thing, sample real Cornish ciders like Rosie’s Pig, Symonds and Apple Slayer
or bottled ciders like Cornish Rattler & Bulmers.
We stock a regularly-refreshed selection of Wines to suit all tastes and budgets: Merlots from Chile and Barolos from Italy;
Henpecked Picpoul de Pinet and Chablis from France or Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand;
plus rosés from Italy and the USA. Or if you’re here to celebrate anything from a birthday to a good day at work,
break out the bubbles with Taittinger champagne or an elegant Italian prosecco.
Whatever your preferred beverage, and your reason for it, at The Castle Inn you will find plenty to enjoy, not least being served
by our longstanding, friendly staff, who are almost as quirky as the building...
*For Real Ale, it’s got to be The Castle Inn on Fore Street [Time Out, St Ives]
